Chris Possemato - Head Varsity Coach
“Coach Poss” played baseball at Arcadia High School, pitched at Glendale Community College, and Loyola Marymount University (LMU). He has a Bachelor’s degree in history from LMU (1991), and a Master’s degree in Education from LMU (2002). He is entering his 26th season as a high school baseball coach. He coached 10 of those years at Loyola High School in Los Angeles, with 3 of those years as head coach for the program. Coach Poss had been the assistant varsity coach and head pitching coach at Santa Fe Christian High School for 8 years (2007-2014), where he had the good fortune of being part of two CIF Championships in 2011 and 2012. From 2015 to 2019 he was the pitching coach at Torrey Pines High School while guiding the staff to the 2018 CIF Open Division Championship. 2021-2023 saw Coach Poss as the pitching coach for San Marcos High School. He has been married to his beautiful wife Karen for nearly 26 years and they live in Carlsbad. They have also raised their two now grown sons, Daniel (UCLA) and Justin (University of Tennessee).

“Coach Cody” Played high school baseball at Rancho Bernardo High School (2006-2009). He played one year at Grossmont Community College (2010), and one year at Tallahassee Community College (2011). Now entering his 11th year of coaching, he started his coaching career as the Head Coach for the Middle school baseball team at Maclay School in Tallahassee, FL (2012). After finishing college, he would return home to San Diego and start coaching at Rancho Bernardo High School as the Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach (2013-2016). During that time, he was involved in 2 CIF Open division championships (2013, 2015). He then would join the coaching staff at Torrey Pines High School (2017-2019, 2023- current), where he would be involved in 2 more CIF Open division championships (2018-2024).
Coach Cody has been married for 6 years to his wife, Harley, and they have 3 kids. 2 girls, Reese and Georgia, and a boy, Riggs.

Kirk McCaskill - Pitching Coach
Coach McCaskill enters his 11th year of coaching high school baseball after serving as the Head Coach at Torrey Pines (2013-2019), The Bishops School (2021-2022) and as the pitching coach for the Falcons (2024). During his tenure at Torrey Pines he has been involved in 2 CIF Open Division Championships (2018, 2024).
Prior to coaching HS baseball, "Coach Mac" played 15 years of professional baseball. After signing with the California Angels in 1982, he made his MLB debut in 1985. He pitched for the Angels (1985-1991) and the Chicago White Sox (1992-1996). He finished his MLB career with 106 wins.
Coach McCaskill has been married for 38 years to Dana, has 3 sons Riley, Reese and Bennett (TP 2017), and is a proud grandfather to James Edward McCaskill!
"My aim is to teach the game comprehensively, demonstrating how the skills learned will be applicable in various situations. I strive to create an enjoyable learning experience for each player. While the environment will be intense, it will also be fulfilling."
