FRANCIS LONA - FRESHMAN COACH

I've been teaching at TPHS for 19 years and have coached Freshmen Baseball for the past four years. During the winter I also coach Freshmen Soccer. I'd like to think that I help to shape the future of our Falcons Athletes...I've also had the pleasure of working with Coach Matt Livingston over the past couple of years and I learned so much from him and this year I am looking forward to working with Coach Max.  Go Falcons!!

MAX IANTORNO - ASSISTANT FRESHMAN COACH

Picture
Coach Max Iantorno graduated from TPHS Class of 2008.  He played two Varsity sports, Water Polo and Baseball, gaining 5 Palomar League Championships and 3 CIF Final Appearances during his time as a Falcon.  As a first basemen and power hitter, he brings great experience to the players in approach, swing mechanics, and mental discipline at the plate.  Coach Max is an old soul who still believes Baseball is America's pastime and works hard in keeping that tradition.  His coaching style embodies hard work, striving for greatness, and teaching players how to be gentlemen on and off the field.  He his a great fit for the freshmen class and will guide players in preparation for the next level.

"It is an honor to work under my former freshman coach, Coach Livingston, and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful program."
